Collective Action for Safe Spaces was a volunteer-led nonprofit focused on building safer, more inclusive communities through intersectional organizing and policy change.
During my 3+ years with the organization, I led communications efforts that amplified the impact of our advocacy work, strengthened public engagement, and helped position CASS as a leading voice in conversations around safety, accessibility, and equity in Washington, DC.
The organization was widely recognized for its work addressing harassment in nightlife spaces, advocating for marginalized communities, and helping advance local policy initiatives—including the Street Harassment Prevention Act.
My role spanned strategy, storytelling, and multi-channel communications.
