Social Impact 360 | Front-End Design

Front-End Design

Social Impact 360 is a mentorship-based training organization for young social entrepreneurs on college campuses nationwide. They came to me when they wanted to modernize their website and make it effectively target potential fellows and corporate sponsors.

The project was essentially a blank canvas. The old site had limited or outdated information, as well as old branding. I first looked at some comparables (other fellowships in social impact, social impact organizations, and entrepreneurial sites by SI360 graduates themselves) to get a sense of how these programs are typically described and promoted. We wanted to turn those ideas on their heads and make something that reflected the truly innovative work this program was doing. I then completed a content audit of the materials they had, wrote fresh copy, chose images that best told their story, and wrote profile stories on six of their graduates. I also did some SEO work to determine the keywords and phrases we should incorporate—and ways that Social Impact 360 could beat the competition. Finally, I built the site itself. Oh, and all of thisstart to finishwas completed in just three months.
